Apartment living on the rise

September 23, 2019

Apartment living is gaining popularity with more people pursuing the lock and leave lifestyle.

Danielle McCarthy, a 29 year old Victoria park flat owner and property manager at Celsius recently purchased a 1 bedroom apartment investment just outside the Perth CBD. She is among 35%of people under 30 who are prioritising living closer to the city. She commented that apartment life is the perfect fit for people who dislike gardening, prefer low maintenance living and value security.

they’re typically higher up so they’re less accessible for people to break in. As a single women security and having a community of neighbours is important. It’s also easy to access nice trendy restaurants and cafes and its easier and cheaper when you’re going out – because if you live far from the city it’s expensive to get there or park there” said Mrs McCarthy.
